Kent PACT (Parents and Carers Together) is a registered charity.
It is a place for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to seek support and meaningful signposting.
Additionally, Kent Count Council have committed to working with Kent PACT to hear the voices, experience and needs for parents/carers in the local area.
They have already begun to work on co-production pieces within each professional service, including a better Health Visiting service for families with SEND and a pilot for support for families with possible ASD/ADHD (undiagnosed or on pathway).
They are looking to recruit parents/carers to become members of our group via our Facebook page and plan to hold meetings (currently virtual) to listen to parents concerns and issues important to them. We aim to develop a network of contact with local parent groups, voluntary groups and charities where parents/carers may be reached.
